When Brandy and I first spoke on the phone, I felt a warm friendly connection right away. Our personalities matched instantly. The “wedding photographer talk” was more of “how” things were coming along, and how she fell in love with Matt. I was engaged with our “girl” talk, that I completely forgot that they were located many miles away from us, in TX. When Brandy told me that their destination wedding would be here in San Diego, over looking the beach, on a wonderful date (10.11.12), I pictured such a beautiful wedding. And indeed it was!
When they arrived into town, two days, before the wedding, we all got together for their engagement session. It just goes to show that no matter what the distance is, the connection you have with the other person on the line, can lead into something spectacular.
The friendship that was built, and the memories that we created together goes far beyond my job as a wedding photographer.
I hugged them both with a big San Diego hug and we began our session.
I noticed right away how strong their foundation was.
They really , really, really love each other!
