The lil ones and I were sitting on the couch.
I looked over at Owynn and asked, “what do you guys wanna do today?” Owynn shouted out, “make cookies like grandma!”
I shruded my shoulders, leaned my head back on the pillows, and said ” okay, that would be fun!”
Imagining that this would be a huge mess.
I gave in, grabbed the keys and we were off.
Owynn, EllaMae, and myself, headed out to the market to get all the ingredients for “grandma cookies”.

They were so ready to get started!! This was a great experience for the both of them.

And so it all began…:)

I was amazed. Owynn helped Ella, asked her questions, and helped in any way he could.

Big boy, Owynn, was able to hold the mixer down and stir it in the correct direction.
I also let him play with the different speed settings!
Oh boy, he loved operating the mixer!!

A quick cheers before the chocolate chips went in!
I also threw in a little orange food coloring to give it some Halloween love. 🙂

Best buds…for today!

Owynn loved the mix. Ella wasn’t a big fan of it..

After a warm shower, “grandma’s cookies” were done!!
I followed the recipe to the T, and still…they came out flat 🙁
Oh well…they tasted good tho!, Just not full and fluffy. hehe

Owynn and Ella worked really well together. They learned how to help each other out, and how to wait their turns.
I was very surprised that there wasn’t any fighting, pushing, or complaining.
Not only did they do majority of the work, I was able to capture them doing it!!! 🙂 I enjoyed every minute!
Happy Friday everyone! Have a wonderful weekend!
